This should be an easy column to write.

Simply put, “Iranian leadership,” whatever that term means, has called President Trump and has stated that they “want to make a deal” to end the war in Iran.

Based on the Iranian request, President Trump has initiated a cease-fire, contingently, for five days.  

Again, the Democrats are losing (I believe the most accurate term to describe it) “bowel control.”  

Regarding a group of people who adamantly want to see America fail, it’s self-evident they are not patriots.  

We all know they have run up the national debt. What is the Minnesota figure estimated to go to... $8 billion? It accounts for 30 percent of the gross Somali National Product.  

That’s estimated to be a “bucket drop” compared to the California figure, when it comes on line.  

Our children, for generations, will be paying this off in the form of a hidden tax called inflation. You don’t see it. Most people don’t even know it exists.  

We pay for it in a hidden tax called reduced Social Security benefits. We damn well know that exists. Which we, by the way, paid for those benefits.  

Iran, without President Trump’s (for all practical purposes 12-hour) war, would have had nuclear weapons.  

And, by this time, they would have been using them.  

They demonstrated that they possess mid-range intercontinental ballistic missiles targeting United States military bases at Diego Garcia, a distance of about 2,500 miles.  

They attacked most of their neighbors.  The reports are that Iran was acquiring long-range missiles capable of delivery into the United States, thanks to — you guessed it — China.  

I think Democrats would have found that acceptable, the spin being, Iran needed them as a means of delivering illegals (can’t use the word “aliens” anymore) into the United States.  

They would just fly them into the country.  Democrats need the vote, hence, no voter ID required. 

Forget save America. After all, what idiot would believe they would use them to deliver nuclear weapons?

It looks as if the Iranian war is over. The United States Marine Corps will occupy Kharg Island... and the Strait of Hormuz will be renamed the Strait of America.  

Of course, I’m failing to mention other little things, like security for Israel, a peaceful Middle East (first time in what, 80 years?), no more state-sponsored terrorism, Chinese communist containment, and now, time and resources being devoted toward a United States-friendly Cuba.  

Oh well, what a bad time to be a Democrat — and not a patriot.  

Trump promised we would win so much, we would get tired of it. I, for one, “ain’t” tired yet.
