The best news today, it seems to me, is that the marriage between Democrats and socialists is destroying their party.  

Chester James Carville Jr. — a long-time Democrat political strategist and pundit who is nicknamed the “Ragin’ Cajun” — is now openly admitting it... stating that the Democrat Party is no longer his party.

The Democrat Socialists of America — is that the correct term? (not Socialist Democrats, uh, that would imply they had a disease... an STD) — have stated their goal is to rid themselves of the “old Democrats” (Carville, Chuck Schumer, Cory Booker, etc.)  

Recalling the axiom, “the left will eat its own”... Is Carville’s abandonment proof that the left will “eat its own?”  

Evidently, according to news reports, millions of Democrats are leaving the party, stating it has become too radical for them.

Personally, I found confirmation, when stating that a friend is a Democrat, only to be reminded that, no, that person is an “Independent.” (My friend had been a lifelong Democrat.) 

Recalling this Democrat Party abandonment is not unusual — I have seen it in my family... often.  

With the election of openly socialist candidates around the country, they are, it seems, the emboldened “party,” demanding the “Democrat Divorce.”  

Possibly the “Big Tent Party” is not working. Old-line Democrats are being forced out from under ‘the tent.’

Remember the hammer-and-sickle flags that came out during the “No Kings Protests?”  

The the axiom is... socialism is a step on the path the toward communism. 

The emboldened Socialist-Democrats (did I mess that up?)... Okay then, the Democrat Socialists of America (apparatchiks) are now admitting communism is their goal.  

For a reminder of how wonderful that world would be, I suggest one watch (again) the 1965 movie “Doctor Zhivago.”  

Bottom line is, if you feel your dominant partner in the Democrat Party is divorcing you, then, like millions, come on over to the Republican Party.  

There is a life beyond the crazies — the ones with cotton candy-colored hair, the ones “keying” Teslas, burning down car dealerships, throwing bricks at cars from overpasses, assaulting people and assassinating political opponents.  

Like moving from California to Texas, leave your politics with the stupid. Remember you can’t educate stupid. “Stupid is forever.”  

It’s a new world here — a world of winners.  

I do remember (President Joe) Biden inflation (9 percent), higher gas prices, egg costs, corruption — and let’s not forget the pardons.
