Because of a reporting error, the last name of Harvey Nix was misspelled in two separate references — in a story and in a photo caption — that appeared in the Sept. 16-29 editions of the Hendersonville Daily Planet and Asheville Daily Planet.

Nix, the vice chairman of the Henderson County Republican Party, had spoken during a Sept. 12 meeting of the Henderson County Republican Men’s Club.
