From Staff Reports

Asheville’s public parking and bus have been free since Tropical Storm Helene, but fees are returning, Asheville television station WLOS (News 13) reported on Nov. 25.

Starting Dec. 2, “you will have to start feeding the meters again for on-street parking,” News 13 noted.

Meanwhile, the city also noted that bus service will remain free until Jan. 2, 2025, with the exception is for the Harrah’s Cherokee Center - Asheville garage during events.
