WASHINGTON, D.C. — Micah Bock, the communications director for U.S. Rep. Madison Cawthorn, R-Hendersonville, is “transitioning” to a new job in the same role for Rep. Victoria Spartz, R-Indiana, Bock noted in an Aug. 16 email sent to the Daily Planet.

He began his email by noting, “Hi all, I wanted to update you on some relevant news regarding the Cawthorn D.C. office!

 â€œAs some of you may have heard, a few weeks ago I accepted a new role running communications for my home congresswoman, Rep. Victoria Spartz, in Indiana’s 5th district. Starting August 23rd, I’ll be transitioning over to her team.

 â€œEver since I entered the political scene, my dream has been to work for my home state, and I am elated to have taken the opportunity to work for the Hoosiers who raised me.

 â€œI am excited to introduce a really talented communications director, Luke Ball (cc’d here), who will be filling my role in Rep. Cawthorn’s office.”

 Bock added, “Working with Rep. Cawthorn has been a true privilege, and I am honored to call him a friend. Moving forward, I am excited to continue working with him in a different capacity, as we continue to fight for a better future for this great nation.

“Please don’t hesitate to reach out, as I’ll be facilitating the transition here, before I hop over to Rep. Spartz’s office,” Bock said in concluding his emailed announcement.
