GREENVILLE, S.C. — A Greenville County school board member is facing charges after she was arrested on Christmas Eve, Greenville television station WYFF 4 -— citing school oficials -— reported on Dec 24.
Greenville County Schools board member Sarah Dulin was arrested early Dec. 24 and charged with third-degree domestic violence, deputies said.
The circumstances surrounding her arrest were not released, and an incident report could not be provided due to the holiday, deputies said.
In the aftermath, school board chair Carolyn Styles released the following statement:
“I was made aware that a trustee was arrested, and I have informed the board of trustees.
“I will continue to monitor the situation and keep the board informed of any developments.
“As always, the board remains committed to ensuring the children in our community receive the best education possible and can thrive in their current and future pursuits.â€
Dulin is described on the school district’s website as a full-time parent and former teacher, early interventionist, and small business owner, elected to the board of trustees in 2020.
