HENDERSONVILLE — Businesses in Hendersonville are bracing as the city’s Seventh Avenue district is scheduled to close Jan. 29 for a streetscape project, Asheville television station WLOS (News 13) reported on Jan. 16.
The TV station said its assertion is based on interviews with city business leaders.
“The last time a major road in Hendersonville was given a makeover, it was Main Street about a decade ago,” News 13 noted. “The same thing is set to happen at the end of the month — this time to Seventh Avenue. It’s set for a temporary, but full closure....”
