Who is better: Rep. Timmons or Rep. Clyburn? They’re really nothing more than ‘chatterboxes’
Sunday, 22 June 2025 22:00

Should U.S. Rep. James “Jim” Clyburn, D-Columbia, and/or U.S. Rep. William Timmons, R-Greenville, be lauded as honorary politicians?

MY answer is a BIG FAT “NO.”

Public recognition of such should be reserved for doers and achievers who accomplish    things that benefit South Carolina, AMERICA (MAGA) & their constituents — NOT THEMSELVES.

In a recent issue of the Asheville Daily Planet these two (2) were bickering regarding constituent service. Neither gives a rat’s butt about that. They just want to portray that image of THEMSELVES.

They should be tackling important issues, such as:

• Fairness in elections; 1) Only U.S. citizens must be counted in any census. Counting non-citizens significantly inflates representation in Congress for states that do count them. Blue states would lose as many as 50 seats, mostly to red states. This has been ongoing since the War of Northern Aggression and continues today. It’s a matter of power. Democrats will do anything — legal or illegal — to remain in control of Congress, including covering-up the instability (Rep. Clyburn) of a sitting president (in name only) who’s inability to govern was obvious, putting America in greater jeopardy than even WW II. That reason alone is enough to oust (Rep. Clyburn) from office in 2026.

• Free and fair elections. Cheating is a mainstay of Democrats. Who would oppose a photo ID to vote? Only those who want to win at all costs cheating included.

• Birthright citizenship. Experiencing hordes o illegals invading America, at the behest of an incompetent and corrupt administration, supported by Democrats in Congress, requires it to be the NO. 1 priority for resolution. There are many more issues to be addressed. It will require resolve, determination, courage, and spine to get it done — qualities lacking in congressmen Clyburn and Timmons.

Both claim to support our military and veterans. However, talk is in great supply — action less so.

When Chapter #301 of the KOREAN WAR VETERANS ASSOCIATION was raising funds to engrave the names of South Carolina residents who were KIAs, MIAs, & POWs on a WALL OF REMEMBRANCE in D.C., both (Clyburn and Timmons) were AWOL.

Chatterboxes only.

Daily Planet questioned for running Pickering’s crazy ‘filth’

Why do you (the Daily Planet) print such filth as written by Jacob Pickering?

Starting his baseless rant with name-calling by an overdosed elite leftist who doesn’t know dip about foreign affairs or the national economy or the extreme personal sacrifice that President Trump has made — remember two attempts on his life?

Then, to top that off, Pickering goes into the bathroom hygiene of President Trump. This, he has well-documented, I am sure, just like the rest of his ravings.

This piece was nothing but advertisement for more of this same in his pitiful theater-acting career.

Please do not encourage more of the same — it would make the world a better place.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Daily Planet runs Jacob Pickering’s submissions as letters to the editor or guest columns in a quest to provide a diversity of viewpoints for our readers.
