Columnist castigated for ‘Judeo-Christian’ reference; told to ‘go play with your Torah!’
EDITOR’S NOTE: The following letter to the editor — addressed as an “open letter” to conservative syndicated columnist Dennis Prager (whose work appears regularly in the Daily Planet including a March 1 column headlined “What are Judeo-Christian values?”) — was sent to the newspaper for possible publication.

Everytime I hear “Judeo-Christian,” I get upset with the phrase and what it means to me.
Seems I’ve only been hearing it for about 20 years.
Feels like sackcloth upon my mind — another herding of the sheep, toward the pit... I’ll have none of it!
The Bible I believe in is a King James version. The outer cover says, “Holy Bible.”
Webster’s Dictionary say “holy” is: “dedicated to religious use; belonging to or coming from God; consecrated; sacred; spiritually perfect or pure, untainted by evil or sin.”
Webster’s also describes a Bible as: “the sacred book of Christianity, the Old and New Testaments.”
The KJV was originally published in 1611 and was transcribed in Latin, Greek and HebrewI just can’t understand a man that digs up a dead woman — to try to “desacralize” the Holy Bible.
I open the Good Book each and every morning, Mr. (Dennis) Prager, and it seems to me the Hebrews have been running from or trying to change the Truth for a long time....
Now I believe you and I differ on God, for I speak of the Heavenly Father, Christ Jesus and the Holy Ghost, for these three are one!
Now, what God do you speak of when you put Hebrew on the Bible and thrown “Holy” away?
I was able to send this reply to the ADP (Asheville Daily Planet) and the Lord came over to me and he told me to pray for you — that you, too, may have everlasting life, through the Lord Christ Jesus.
For it is Him who slayed the demons out of my person. I was left with two black eyes, a broken cheek and a burned arm
.No man did this to me.
I’ve never felt a greater joy, as I realized the desire and the smell repulsed me. Wow! The demon booze was dead to me! I had cried out to Christ Jesus — and, boy, did He answer me! Amen!
So, you see, the word “holy” has a lot of meaning to me, as does the Heavenly Father.
Hebrew, to me, is just a body of mankind — and no man could cure what ailed me.
In closing, Mr. Prager, if you want to mess with words, go play with your Torah — and leave the Holy Bible alone!
