The Candid Conservative: Amerikanisch Kampf?

“It is a quite special secret pleasure how the people around us fail to realize what is really happening to them.”
— Adolf Hitler

The election is behind us. Gott sei Dank. That’s “thank goodness” in German.

Why German? Because America is on a fast track to duplicating a very specific piece of that nation’s history.

Here’s the case.

Cooperative media

When the boys of Hitler rumbled into power in the ‘30s, one of the first things they did was secure media compliance, corruption, complacency or capitulation.

Which of the four didn’t really matter. Central control was assured either way.

American mainstream media – with very few exceptions that don’t include our local television station and daily paper – has stepped right up for liberal-progressive-socialism.

Like their 1930s German counterparts, they’re able to self-justify the transition from objective journalists to agenda driven “schmeichler.” That’s German for “one who accommodates to gain personal advantage.”

Conspiracy not

Though conspiracy theories flood social media, may one suggest that most of these declarations are “dummheit.” The power-driven leaders of the left – think professional hysteric AOC – really aren’t that smart.

What they are is opportunistic – and exceedingly willing to take advantage of any consumable moment.

The enemy of America’s traditional success equation isn’t a small group of super-masterminds quietly pulling our strings. It’s a very large group of “Dunning-Kruger” effected narcissists – people who believe they’re smarter than they are and we are dumber than we are – who, as a path to power, dependably exploit people’s vulnerability to the promise of something for nothing.

It’s not a conspiracy – it’s the Democrat Party’s declared political platform.

The scary part

If you’re a similarly declared conservative in America, please note you’re a persecuted minority.

Afraid to put a Trump bumper sticker on your car because of vandalism probabilities? Fearful of wearing a MAGA hat because of violence potentials? Had your conservative political signs torn or stolen multiple times? Hesitant to identity yourself as a conservative thinker for fear of mockery? These are marks of discrimination and mirror precisely how things began in ‘30s.

Lest one think this is a stretch, consider some recent comments by our blue-shirted left-minded stormtroopers:

• AOC – “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future?”

• Allan Brauer, a Democratic Party communications director speaking to Ted Cruz – “May your children all die from debilitating, painful, and incurable diseases.”

• Joe Biden – “And don’t any of you, by the way, any of you guys vote Republican. I’m not supposed to say, this isn’t political…don’t come to me if you do. You’re on your own, Jack!”

• Dan Savage, LGBTQ activist – “I wish they (Republicans) were all f**king dead!”

• Joy Behar, The View – “Do you think this Constitution-loving is getting out of hand?”

 • Jill Filipovic, feminist activist attorney, “Divorce your Republican husbands.”

And one of many similar responses to a recent pro-Trump column submission – “Read your column today in the C-T and you’re an idiot…do as Trump suggests and not fear Covid—gather with other like-minded people and breathe deeply…”

Jews in Hitler’s time mistakenly believed things wouldn’t get worse. We shouldn’t make the same error.

Conservative silliness

Joe Biden won this election for three reasons: (1) Trump’s terribly immature first debate performance (2) His subsequent parade of equally immature tweets and comments and (3) The folly of otherwise conservative-minded people who voted against him because they ‘didn’t like him.’

Biden didn’t win this election because most Americans wanted to vote for him or his running mate. He won because too many Americans ignored Trump’s policy and performance and voted against his personality.

Silliness has a price.

Where does it land?

The left, mainstream media, confused conservatives, China, Russia, Iran and every other U.S. antagonist in the world are now breathing a sigh of relief. The slogan “America First” has been successfully canceled and replaced with “America Pretends.”

Though Trump has good reason to doubt the authenticity of the election outcome, reversal is unlikely.

The “winners” will have a short honeymoon. Now that they can’t chew on Trump, they will quickly chew on each other. Those with “die Verwegenheit” to continue sporting their conservatism – that’s German for foolhardiness – will remain targets.

Why – because any political movement that believes its good public policy to intercept 65 million new lives for convenience isn’t exactly conscience burdened. Is a ‘Kristallnacht’ on the conservative Amerikanisch horizon?

History tells us that holocausts all start the same way – with self-righteousness, cultural upheaval, and the corruptive touch of social manipulators masquerading as benefactors. The last box to check is the dehumanization of the intended target.

We’re there.

Just what else did you think Hillary meant by “basket of deplorables?”
