Three of the four candidates for the Asheville City Board of Edication won seats on the board in the Nov. 5 general election.
The top vote-getter was Pepi Acebo with 14,796 votes, 27.58 percent.
Placing second in the race was incumbent Jesse Warren with 14,057 votes, or 26.20 percent.
Placing third and winning the final seat was current board Chair George Sieburg with 13,231 votes, or 24.66 percent.
The only candidate not to win a seat was William Young with 11,208 votes, or 20.89 percent, despite receiving an endorsement from the Asheville City Association of Educators.
